ABOUT Dayton

Hello and thanks for visiting my website! Here's a little information about me: I began playing piano at the age of four, legs swinging from the piano bench at my weekly private lessons. Fast-forward and now I have a master's degree in music theory from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a bachelor's degree in applied piano. I began teaching professionally in Orlando, FL in 2021 and recently moved to Chattanooga, TN. I love making music and especially love teaching piano, both in-person and online, because of how music can connect us to each other and to deeper parts of ourselves. ​

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced keyboard player, I would love to bring my theoretical understanding, technical abilities, and teaching perspective to help you become the piano player you want to be.   • half-hour lesson

    a great place to start for younger kids or hobbyists

    $40

  • 45-minute lesson

    a great choice for older kids and intermediate/advanced students

    $60

  • hour lesson

    a great choice for highly-motivated students or those with a specific learning-objective in mind

    $80

*in-person lessons in the student's home/office are limited to the Chattanooga, TN area and may incur an additional transportation fee depending on the travel distance required. Those outside the Chattanooga area (and inside) are invited to take online lessons!
